Broken and Free

Have you ever had something broken? Whether it is a broken relationship, bone, object or heart, once broken, it will never be the same. For broken relationships, sometimes the break is permanent. It hurts and all sorts of emotions linger. For broken bones, once they set and heal are often actually stronger than they were to begin with. For broken objects, trying to put the pieces back together exactly they way there were is impossible. For a broken heart, life seems like it has ended.

 

Sometimes the break weakens and sometimes the break strengthens. When we allow ourselves to be broken before God, He strengthens us through the breaking process and we walk in complete freedom. The cracks and crevasses reveal His glory.

 

Do you find yourself worrying or fretting over situations or things in your life? God wants you broken in order to free you.
